When we moved here, we noticed that most of the filmmakers and photographers working in Kyle drive in from Austin. We live here. So we built the studio here.
Director
Saeed is a graduate of Austin Community College's Radio-Television-Film program, with more than twelve years of writing, directing, shooting and editing behind him: short films that won awards at festivals in Austin, Santa Monica and Budapest, a comedy series watched by millions, and commercials for brands large and small. He directs every Hich Studio shoot himself. When a project calls for a bigger crew, he brings in videographers and photographers he has worked with for years, most of them living right here around Kyle and Buda.
Producer
Arezoo is a graduate of the University of Texas and spent several years as a business analyst at Oracle, where she learned to run projects with many moving parts and keep them on time and on budget. At Hich Studio she runs the business side and produces every project: planning, scheduling, budgets, contracts and the small details that make a shoot day easy for a client. If you email us, she is usually the first person who answers.
"Hich" means "nothing" in Persian. We started from nothing in a new town, and that's where every film begins.
